Gord Grant, legendary CP journalist, dies at 73 - Canada - Canoe.ca

I’d never consider myself a journalist, but having been taught by Gord Grant, I know how to tell a fair story.

He was also kind enough to go out of his way to hook me up with tickets to see 22 Minutes (at the height of it’s popularity) not an easy thing to do for most people. But since he knew everyone it was no sweat. I never forgot his kindness.

Update: My friend and classmate Rich reminded me of this favourite Gord quote.  Regarding Algonquin Admin: “These guys couldn’t organize a piece of ass at a whore’s convention.”
