The Canadian Press: Big Bird's still huge as 'Sesame Street' marks 40th anniversary

Last year I got to be a kid again, when I got to work with Oscar The Grouch (aka Caroll Spinney aka Big Bird) for a Public Service Announcement.

This will be my #1 acting gig (unless I get to be on Sesame Street). My only regret from the shoot is I didn’t ask Caroll to do Big Birds voice, though I do have a signed tiny Oscar The Grouch as a souvenir from the shoot.

To hear Oscar the Grouch utter your name as he peeks from his can is mind blowing “I’m watching you Darryl”, it’s like your TV just talked back to you .
