bugeyedbistro: A ruling by U.S. regulators that allows Americans to break certain digital locks on content and devices may throw a wrench into the Canadian government’s plan to reform copyright law. It’s hard for Clement to argue that the new copyright regulation aligns Canada with international standards when the proposed bill is more restrictive than U.S. copyright law.
